JOE CUMBO - NEW YORK

cumbojoeresized

Joe Cumbo was born to become as funny, and perverted, as his name. Observational, with a child-like perspective that is both twisted and genuine, Joe is able to link a wide variety of topics to his views of life, presenting odd opinions in a sincere way. His take on the negative side of life will have you thinking about the things that you don’t normally notice, leaving you with a new view of them.

Joe Cumbo has been captivating audiences throughout NY, Ontario and Pennsylvania for the past six years. He is one of the most fresh and original up-and-coming comics in the upstate NY region. His hip brand of humor can be appreciated by all and shows you the brighter side of what we usually see as the negatives of everyday existence. So come forget the bad for a while and have fun laughing at the humor that can found in the dark side of life.

STEPHEN PATTERSON - TORONTO

pattersonstephenresized

Stephen Patterson, a native of Kingston ON, got his start in comedy in Ottawa in 2001, and now makes Toronto his home. Steve combines a subtle cynicism, with a natural on-stage charm and sense of playfulness that makes him a hit wherever he performs. His ability to put an intelligent spin on mundane issues and a ridiculous spin on intellectual ones, makes him one of the more diverse comedians “on the scene”, and certainly one to watch in years to come.

Off the stage, Steve has also made multiple film and television appearances in both comedic and dramatic genres, most notably in the TV shows “Enter at Your Own Risk” (with Harland Williams) and “Mann to Mann” (Bravo!), MOWs “Stranger at the Door” and “A Woman Hunted”, the feature films “Hacks” and “Decoys” and the CBC mini-series “H20″ (with Paul Gross). Steve also owns a production company, BHG Entertainment, which continues to be his creative outlet for various film, television and media projects.

FRIDAY WINNER - EARLY SHOW
CHRIS FORBES - SCOTLAND

forbeschris

Chris Forbes burst onto the comedy scene towards the end of 2006 and has never looked back. It didn’t take long before this gangly and good natured funny man quickly established himself as one of Scotland’s fastest rising young stars. Regularly playing all of Scotland’s Top comedy venues, Chris has also been venturing south of the border to play gigs in Newcastle, London and Manchester.

Chris has a Conversational, laid back and playful style that gives him a likeable onstage persona, and with constant references to the crowd between lines he delivers a room shaking laughter effect with every joke. His acting background (coupled with his 6’2 stature) helps him to command the stage and he’s not afraid of making the most of his wiry frame with some great physical comedy.

Forbes was recently seen making his T.V debut on the BBC’s hit Scottish Sitcom, ‘Dear Green Place’, alongside stars Ford Kiernan and Paul Reilly.

FRIDAY WINNER - LATE SHOW
ROB PUE - MISSISAUGA LOCAL LAUGH OFF WINNER

Rob moved to Los Angeles in early 2004 and was immediately cast as a regular on the hit MTV series Punk’d. He can also be seen on Comedy Central’s Premium Blend.
