Eight comedians took the stage tonight and great performances took over the stage for the sixth show of the contest.

The young crowd stayed laughing as Lars Calleiou (right) and Peter White (left) won the judges over to move to the semifinals.

Another rainy night…

Friday, May 1st, 2009

…but not at Yuk Yuk’s during the Laugh Off. Not a wet person in the house, can’t promise about the seats though. With another installment of the Laugh Off complete, comics from Massachusetts, California, Alabama, St. John’s, Toronto and South Africa, made sure that everyone was laughing throughout the night.

That feat was also possible due to the MC for the evening, Tony Krolo, who kept the momentum going between comedians.

After the rain stopped and the dust settled, there were only two comedians moving on into the semis this coming Saturday….

…Congrats to Toronto’s own Bryan Hatt and, all the way from San Francisco, California, Marty Grimes.

We’d also like to thank the judges; Anne Hines (Metro Toronto), Chantal LeBlanc (Life Force TV), Jeff Marshall (Jeff Marshall Casting), and Norwayne Anderson (NAM Talent)
